Delete your data

Last revised May 29, 2026

UGC Planner, operated by UP UGC Planner LLC, gives you a one-tap way to delete your account and everything associated with it. This page explains exactly what happens and how to request deletion if you can't open the app.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open UGC Planner on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
  2. Go to Settings (tap your avatar, then the gear / Settings).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@ugcplanner.app from the address you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership of the email and complete the deletion within 30 days (typically within 24 hours).

What gets deleted

What we cannot delete

Subscription receipts processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play remain on file with those platforms under their own retention rules; we do not control those records. Server log entries containing only the technical metadata of past requests (IP, timestamp, route) may persist in our infrastructure for up to 90 days before automatic purge, in line with our Privacy Policy. Anonymised, aggregated analytics that no longer identify you may be retained.

Data on your device

If you used On this device only mode, your business records never left your device. Deleting the app removes them. If you used encrypted cloud backup, the local copy is removed when you delete the app and the server-side ciphertext is removed when you delete your account.

The encryption key for cloud backups lives in your device's OS-level secure storage (iCloud Keychain on iOS, Android Keystore on Android). Removing the app and signing out of the relevant OS account removes that key from the device.

Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Backup-storage providers (Cloudflare R2) and managed database providers (Neon Postgres) honour deletion within their own SLAs, and short-lived caches age out automatically.

Your other rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA, and similar laws). See our Privacy Policy for the full list and how to exercise them.
